Brittany Van Pelt is a strategic digital communicator with experience in content creation with experiences in both electoral and advocacy communications. She has worked for the North Carolina Democratic Party, The Human Rights Campaign, The Biden for President Campaign, Pat Timmons-Goodson for Congress, the National WIC Association, and Patriotic Millionaires


Currently, she is the Senior Advocacy Specialist at Child Care Aware

of America.

Brittany received her Master of Arts in Political Communication from American University in May 2021 and her Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University in

May 2019.

Develop and disseminate digital content related to child care advocacy. Contribute and maintain advocacy campaigns and programming calendar. Grow constituency engagement advocacy efforts. Analyze and report on digital engagement content. Troubleshoot constituency advocacy project problems. Support the execution of advocacy initiatives. Implement digital best practices across all digital channels.

Curate, create, and schedule the following posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Oversee and execute an influencer strategy to expand the Patriotic Millionaires brand online.
